Every year, Emily makes me wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the Christmas tree. And even though they like to act like a Grinch, this year they put up the tree for me while I was out. Look at how pretty it is!

Each month I make video outtakes, and this month’s (free) post is one of the best examples of why I married Emily.
Necromonicon Entry: Woobloo
They’re wibbly, they’re wobbly, they’re your best friend! And you’ve gotta buy from your best friend’s store, right?
Woobloo don’t have a common form - instead, they adapt into the most appropriate form for the store they promote, as a form of camouflage. A notable exception is Big Jake Hell’s Woobloo, which was encouraged to take the form it wanted most.
When speaking, Woobloo actually do attempt to say their names backwards. This speech is just lost in their constant waggling, which is why it sounds like a muddled blublublublublublublublub
It is unknown how long a fully extended Woobloo would be. Researchers have always run out of space before finding the limit.
Kyle’s Corner: The Perfect Gift
I’m not even gonna pretend this one has something to do with Quest Friends! But hey, it’s my corner and I get to do what I want with it. And what I want to do is talk about what makes a good gift. Because apparently, I’m pretty good at it.
And luckily, I can distill down what makes my gifts so good in two simple rules!
Get them something they’d want, but they’d never buy.
It could be that it’s too expensive, they don’t know it exists, or that it’s something money literally cannot buy. The trick is that you know they want (or would want) what you’re getting them, but because they don’t plan on getting it, the gift still comes as a nice surprise! It also avoids the nervous panic when you get a gift that someone might buy, so now you need to do all you can to keep them from buying the gift lest they unintentionally perform a grievous sleight against you by getting something nice for themself no this hasn’t happened to me why are you asking
Keep a list year-round.
“Okay, Kyle” I hear your beautiful straw head saying, “that sounds nice and all, but how do I figure out all of these perfect gifts in only a few weeks?”
Anyone who knows me knows I love Google Docs, so it should come as no surprise that I have a constantly-updating list of gift ideas for my friends and family. But I promise, this one actually is worth it! Whenever I stumble across something I think would make a good gift or - better yet - someone talks about something they seem interested in, I take 10 seconds to add it to my list. And to be honest, most of these gifts don’t quite cut it. They’re unavailable, they aren’t as good as I thought, they’re no longer of interest to the recipient, etc. But 9 times out of 10, when I look at the list around Christmastime, there usually is a perfect gift somewhere in there - and sometimes it’s even one that I chose not to buy a previous year.
Finally, if (like Emily) your in-laws force you to make a Christmas list each year and you don’t know how to put it together, you can follow the rules above and have a list that will make Mama Decker proud!
